Greg is a native
of Southern California and has been a resident of the Bay Area since 1996. Greg and his wife,
Sylvia, have a home in San Jose that they share with their two cocker spaniels. In his free time,
Greg enjoys reading, computer networking projects and exploring the outdoors in the beautiful Bay
Area.

Sylvia L. Seroff
Sylvia is Director of Operations for Legacy Planning Law Group. She brings a broad experience
base in both the legal field and business management to Legacy Planning Law Group. Her
previous position was as Senior Manager in the Patent Development department at Johnson & Johnson, a Fortune
100 company. In her 15 years with J&J, Sylvia was responsible for developing and
patenting new technologies. Sylvia is a registered United States Patent Agent, and she has
experience in legal research and document drafting.
Sylvia joined her husband, Greg, in the law practice in 2006. She has multiple roles within
the firm, including office administration, marketing, and paralegal
duties. Sylvia works on trust
administration and probate matters, corresponding with clients, government agencies,
courts, fiduciaries and financial institutions.
Presently, Sylvia is pursuing a law
degree and expects to receive her J.D. in 2014. Sylvia is a native of Santa
Clara County and graduated from Prospect High School in Saratoga, California. She received her B.S. degree
in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University. In her free time, Sylvia enjoys
movies, comedy, spending time with her family and her two cocker spaniels.
Toby Engle
Toby is a legal assistant at Legacy Planning Law Group. Toby interacts with potential
clients to explain what services our firm provides and how we can assist them. Her paralegal duties
include working on trust administration and probate matters, probate and civil litigation, corresponding with
clients, government agencies, courts, fiduciaries and financial institutions. She really enjoys working with
people and will ensure that your experience with Legacy Planning Law Group is pleasant and
efficient.
Currently,
Toby is pursuing a Paralegal degree at West Valley College during the evenings and expects to receive
her A.S. degree in 2012. She is a native of California, and has lived in the Santa Cruz Mountains for the
past 16 years. In her spare time, Toby enjoys gourmet cooking, as she was a previously a professional
chef.
Emily Engle
If you call or
visit our firm, chances are you will speak with our legal receptionist, Emily, and be greeted in her friendly
and helpful manner. She is currently pursuing an A.S. degree in Paralegal Studies from West Valley
College. Emily is a native of the San Cruz Mountains, and graduated from San Lorenzo Valley High School, where
she competed in speech and debate, swimming and waterpolo. She received honors at graduation for
participation in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Watershed Academy program. When she is not working,
she enjoys photography, gardening, spending time with her family and her dog, Mocha
Jane.
Jayme Black
Jayme plays various important roles on the Legacy Planning team. Utilizing her
extensive accounting background, she produces detailed fiduciary accountings for trusts and estates that
are administered through our office and that are court-supervised. In addition, she provides
assistance to our clients with bookkeeping, with paying bills and with the logistics of
administering/managing their estates. Jayme has proven experience working with elderly and physically
disabled clients, and has a unique and caring approach that our clients really
appreciate.
Jayme recieved a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. She is a long-time resident
of the South Bay and currently lives in Campbell with her husband, Tom. In her free time, she loves
to go to the movies, play Bingo and enjoy time with family and friends.
Rhonda Bump
Rhonda Bump is a Certified Public Accountant
and worked for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), before retiring after 32 years of
service. She brings extensive experience in excise, employment, estate & gift tax to
Legacy Planning Law Group. Additionally, she is a California state certified ombudsman for Long Term Care
at Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County. In her capacity
as ombudsman, she has visited nursing homes and assisted living facilities all over
the county to investigate and resolve complaints, as well as educate residents, families and staff about
residents' rights. Rhonda assists our firm's clients in the areas of elder advocacy, tax and accounting
issues.
